I Blame The Full Moon

Well today it was back to salt water fishing with arrival of my friend Ron back from Singapore, we headed out to North Mole aiming for some snapper or rays with a mini storm that just passed over these last few days it would be great conditions for the snapper but one thing had keep me saying that we would get something and that was an almost full moon.

We arrived at North Mole with the place almost full with cars and rods out to chase some snapper or bread & butter fish but it seemed no one had any bites even though herring schools are usually a plague around The Moles.

After snagging on the rocks a few time and losing 2/3 of my spool I decided to call it quits with the mole and coming of the low tide.. Even though we didn’t catch anything there always fish and chips at Fremantle.

We decided to try out E shed markets after dinner to catch some bait fish for next fishing trip which usually has alot of small bread & butter fish which are great for bait but nothing was caught....

Quite disappointing this trip was.... so maybe the story about not able to catch fish with a full moon is true
