Today, Shane finished his exams so we decided to try some fishing next to my house in east Perth for bream and flatheads. The tide was low and wind quite weak allow us to throw our lures and SP into the snags. Shane first cast surprised us as he thought he was snag but turned out it wasn’t but didn’t get to set the hook in... About 15 mins later I caught our first fish a nice 33ish cm flathead right in front of me.
We called it a night after 1 hour cause our other fishing buddy Ron had arrived with macs for us but we decided to go back to my place and steam the fish straight away. Ron being a virgin in alot of accepts of fishing was so happy he was going to try some flathead for the first time.
Recipe for the fish was...
Ginger, Salt and Light Soya Sauce then steamed.
At the end it was a great night, great friends and great fish. Now time for work in 4 hours :(
